Jenny graduated from the University of Sydney in 2001, with a PhD for a thesis on Semantic Paradoxes in Natural Language. Since then, she has been employed at Macquarie in a number of roles, working mainly on the development and teaching of PHIL137 Critical Thinking.

Jenny currently teaches or has taught the following units:
- PHIL134 Introductory Formal Logic
- PHIL137 Critical Thinking
- PHIL256 Knowledge and Reality
- PHIL280 Truth and Existence
- SLP 148 Language, Logic and Computation
Current research
Jenny's current research is focused on the nature of epistemic normativity. Her research interests also include philosophy of logic and language, including metaphilosophical issues about the relationship between natural language and logic.
