Visiting Opportunities
Visiting Academics and Associates are welcomed in the Department. Visitors take part in the academic or research activities of the Department and have a formal attachment to the Faculty of Arts, which processes the applications. Appointments are usually honorary and visiting staff members are not employees of the University. Visiting Staff are issued with a Staff Identity Card for use of the library resources and other campus facilities.
Visiting positions may be arranged for a range of staff from senior Visiting Professors to junior Visiting Scholars. All visiting staff receive short term appointments of up to a year.
